ROMOSS MagMate 05 Magnetic Power Bank (5000mAh, 20W)

Very compact size 5000mAh Portable Charger by Romoss. Excellent powerbank to have handy when my iPhone charge is very low. The strong magnetic attraction easily connects to my iPhone. Charging with this portable charger is standard speed 'C it did not appear to be any faster or slower than a cord plugged into the wall, it took over an hour to recharge my iPhone from 25-30% charge to 100%. I can charge 2 devices simultaneously; to do so I use a USB-A to USB-C adapter on my USB-A / lightning cord to charge my iPad while my iPhone is magnetically connected and charging. Many of my devices have USB-A ports rather than USB-C ports so I need an adapter to charge any of these devices with any newer power banks that only feature USB-C device connections. Using an adapter is not difficult or inconvenient compared to the cost of a new device with a USB-C port. This portable charger is a pretty compact size and lightweight to carry with me in a sling bag; this is definitely worth having on me when my iPhone or iPad has a very low charge.

I really like this battery to travel with and carry with me since its pretty lightweight and small. It seems to charge my phone quickly enough and isn't very noticeable when its on my phone though of course it add weight. It also doesn't work with all cases so that's something to keep in mind. Overall it works well and I am happy with the quality!

Wow the magnet is strong! It holds to the side of my fridge securely even while only partially touching. It is so thin that my first day using it before going out I thought I had left it somewhere in the house and didn't realize it was in my pocket all along.5000mAh is an okay battery capacity but it makes for a lightweight addition. I like how easy to use this is with the light indicators next to the USB-C port. Build quality is okay, it's nothing special, I wish it was better but it works. The surface finish does not do the best job at hiding dust as you can see in my picture from immediately after unboxing. However I like the look of the design of how it looks.I wish it came with a small USB-C to USB-C cord to allow dual charging though out of the box. Unfortunately you will have to provide your own, same as a power brick for charging it. The 15w wireless charging and 20w wired will match iPhones but might feel a tiny bit slow if you are an Android user used to even faster charging time than what iPhone specs currently offer. It did charge Android phones properly as expected though of course.It makes for a nice, small and convient portable magnetic wireless power bank that I can recommend! Just wish the build quality and finish was a little better but you might not think about that. Products like this really show how nice the magnet standard charging is that is currently available on iPhones, I hope other phones adopt it soon too so everyone can enjoy it!

It's about the size of a deck of cards, which makes it incredibly portable. I can easily slip it into my pocket or bag without it taking up much space. The magnetic feature is also a game-changer. It sticks securely to my iPhone 14, staying put with no wobbling or slipping. I didn't think I'd care about the magnetic function, but now I can't imagine charging without it.No tangled cords to deal with, just snap it on, and you're good to go. It doesn't overheat like some other chargers I've used, so I can keep using my phone while it's charging without turning it into a little oven.

Having additional power banks on the ready is vital these days. This charger has a dual type c - that can not only charge this charger - but you can use that C charger to charge your devices. The charger charges up quickly and is ready to go. I am really impressed that there is so much power in such a compact size! So far so good!
